Beyond the Mediterranean coast, a completely different landscape awaits: mountains, reservoirs and quiet freshwater locations surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Southern Spain.
Casa España Experiences is now expanding its programme with Austrian Guiding Service Andalucía – private freshwater fishing experiences for Black Bass and Carp.
Based at Casa España in Cómpeta, Málaga, our new fishing experiences are designed for guests who want to discover another side of Andalucía.

Freshwater fishing in Andalucía combines fishing with something we particularly value at Casa España: the experience of the landscape itself.
Our focus is initially on two experiences:
Black Bass Fishing
Black Bass is one of the most exciting freshwater predators to target with artificial lures.
Our private Black Bass Experiences are active fishing sessions adapted to the season, weather and current water conditions.
Rather than publishing exact fishing spots online, we select suitable locations individually for each experience.
Carp Fishing
For anglers who prefer a more relaxed fishing session, we also offer private Carp Experiences.
Surrounded by the mountains and landscapes of inland Andalucía, this is as much about spending time outdoors as it is about catching fish.
Private Guiding – Not a Mass-Tourism Excursion
Austrian Guiding Service Andalucía is intentionally different from conventional tourist excursions.
We normally guide only one or two anglers at a time.
This allows us to adapt the experience to the guests, their fishing experience and the conditions on the day.
Experiences can be booked as:
Half Day Fishing Experience – approximately 4 hours
or
Full Day Fishing Experience – approximately 7–8 hours
Both Black Bass and Carp experiences are available.
Fishing & Stay at Casa España
The concept becomes particularly interesting when fishing is combined with a stay at Casa España.
Our holiday home in Cómpeta in the Axarquía region of Málaga accommodates up to four guests and provides an ideal base for exploring inland Andalucía.
After a morning or day on the water, guests can return to Casa España and enjoy the terraces and our private heated Jacuzzi, available throughout the year.
This makes the experience ideal for a short fishing holiday, a trip with friends or a few days away from the conventional tourist routes.
Fishing & Photography
There is another combination that is particularly close to us.
Fishing and photography.
The landscapes surrounding Andalucía's reservoirs offer excellent opportunities for travel, landscape and nature photography.
As Casa España already offers private Photography Experiences, we can combine both activities into an individual Fishing & Photography Experience.
Fish in the morning. Photograph Andalucía in the afternoon. Or simply take the camera with you and document the entire adventure.
What Is Included?
Depending on the selected experience, our private fishing guiding can include:
personal guiding
local transport during the experience
selection of fishing locations according to current conditions
assistance with fishing techniques and tackle
drinks during the experience
support with understanding local fishing requirements
optional fishing equipment by prior arrangement
Because fishing regulations, licences and conditions can change, the exact requirements are checked individually before every experience.
Half Day or Full Day?
For guests staying at Casa España, the Half Day Experience is an excellent introduction.
It leaves enough time to enjoy Cómpeta, the mountains, the coast or simply relax at Casa España during the rest of the day.
Experienced anglers may prefer the Full Day Experience, giving us considerably more flexibility to react to fish activity and changing conditions.

Your Fishing Base in Andalucía
Casa España is located in the white mountain village of Cómpeta, in the Axarquía region east of Málaga.
The location gives our guests the opportunity to combine very different sides of Southern Spain: mountains, Mediterranean coast, traditional villages, photography, nature – and now freshwater fishing.
And because our experiences are private, every fishing day can be planned individually.
